There's so many things I hate about The Greens Party. Perhaps it's because their policies are terrible and conflicted. Or perhaps it's because many of the people associated with them participate in pointless annoying protests.
1. Pollution is bad
Under a Greens government, roads would get less attention, because cars make polution and polution is bad. The Greens would likely impose further taxes on cars and petrol. But that's fine, because they'd probably make public transport free. I'm sure you all know how much I hate public transport.
Oh, and we'd have to decommission all our powerplants, because they burn coal which is pollution which is bad.
2. Nuclear power is bad
The Greens believe nuclear anything is bad. So, no coal and no nuclear. That leaves us with..
3. Hydroelectric power blocks dams
Just to recap. No coal power, no nuclear power, and no hydro power. Guess that means we'll have to go back to the dark ages, where we do things by candle light, and take horse drawn carts to work.
4. Cruelty to Animals is bad
Sorry buddy. Can't take that horse drawn cart to work. It's cruel to animals, and cruelty to animals is bad. Animals have their own free will. Oh yeah, and you can't have eggs, bacon, or steak, because farm are cruel and evil because they force animals into enclosure for breeding and kill animals. Go and eat vegetables.
5. GM Food is bad
Make sure those veggies are 100% natural, because GM is bad. Who cares if it grows faster, tastes better, and has less "bad apples" (no pun intended). GM will pollute our environment (see point #1.)
6. Tax cuts are bad
Everyone should pay 100% tax. We should all live in a communist economy where food, education and healthcare are all free. Wake up, morons. I won't ever support a party whose main policies rely on financially unsustainable ideas, which, ultimately will result in raised taxes.
7. University education should be free
A university education by no means guarantees you a job. In fact, if uni's taught me anything, it's that what you learn at uni is pointless. There's two main times you learn at uni: the night before the exam, and... the night before the exam. Anything you learn at uni will be forgotten the night after the exam, or definately, the friday night after. Ah Shooters, how I love thee.
8. Alcohol is bad
Alcohol causes rowdy behaviour, domestic violence, drink driving (but we won't have cars anyway, see #1), and is basically, bad. So that means you can't go and forget your uni troubles at Shooters. Oh, and forget the uni bar.
There's many, many (MANY) more policies of the Greens that I am opposed to, but I'll save that for another day.
Comments
And that is why the Greens would be a FANTASTIC caretaker government, so that I could easily take CONTROL from them. I think perhaps a military coup would be effective- especially since the
greens are anti-defence force. MUAHAHAHA!!!! Also, they'd make pot legal, so they can't be bad.
