Rain Rain, Go Away

Thats right, it's time for another of my not-so-daily whinges.

This time it's about something completely out of my control: Rain. Thats right, I hate rain. Some people just don't understand this hatred; so much so they go and dance in the rain right in front of me just to prove a point.

But there's a good reason for this. In Canberra (and likely, many other cities around the world), it only rains in Winter. Rain + Cold = Not good. The combination of cold and wet induces diseases (okay, probably the wrong word) such as the Cold and Flu. Plus it makes you feel like shit.

There's another reason I dislike rain. Rain means wet roads. Wet roads means I can't drive as fast.. Mainly cuz my car has dodgy tyres (hmmm...). Corners slower, distances larger (no tail-gateing). Cops must love the rain (well, other than the additional accidents stuff).

But don't think you can get away with me whingeing about only one thing this time. I feel the need to have a whinge about primary school children.

As many of you may know, I work at Gilmore Primary School as the Network Administrator. Think: hundreds of primary school kids, and a bunch of computers networked up. Yes, you got it -- utter nightmare.

These kids are rotten! Go deleting and renaming icons on the desktop, messing with program settings... I never thought primary school kids were so devious (hmm, thinks back to self as primary school kid... okay, point taken)
